Primary Features & Prompts
The app gives you the ability to perform take-off, landing and weight & balance calculations for your aircraft and planned aerodromes. There is even an option to complete all calculations at the same time, which is especially useful if you wish to plan your entire route at the start.
The app also gives you many helpful prompts as you navigate and make use of its features, so that you do not need to rely on a bulky user manual, as well as allowing you to print your calculation results to PDF and creating a custom aircraft profile for your aircraft's exact configuration.
Results Visualisation
It is one thing simply telling you the results, as values. However, this is not necessarily helpful when, for example, you are in a rush, you are planning a diversion mid-flight or you simply want to see something visual.
That is why we have gone one step further, by creating a detailed visual depiction of your calculation results, which includes both the wind relative to your direction of travel and the runway length available, compared to the required distance.
User Preferences
At Soteria's Wings®, we know that the majority of pilots will fly a certain type of aircraft more regularly than others, and that they are highly likely to fly from a base aerodrome in a specific country. That is why our app enables you to set your default aerodrome and aircraft preferences, to prevent you from having to waste time searching for the same ones every time you use the app.
Beyond that, we also allow you to set your preferred units, including weight in either Kilogrammes or Pounds and speed in Knots or Miles per Hour, as we know our users will all have different preferences.
Pre-Installed Countries & Runways
One of the brilliant things about our app is that you do not need to know anything about the aerodromes from which or to which you intend to operate. When you want to start a performance calculation, you simply need to search for the correct country and then the correct runway within that country.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that our databases are kept up-to-date, we understand that there could be instances where an aerodrome is not present without our app. In that case, we have provided manual input functionality, so you can still use our fantastic app without an issue.

We wanted our app to be a useful tool that you always want by your side when you are flying. That is why we have added many useful extra features, beyond the performance calculations that all pilots need to perform when planning each flight.
